  • 1. Competition organiser

    2. Duration
    The competition runs from 16 May 2022 to 31 August 2022.

  •  

     

    3. Eligibility for participation

    All natural persons between the ages of 3 and 12 who are resident in Switzerland are eligible to participate. However, employees of Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG and their family members living in the same household may not take part. If one of the above-mentioned persons takes part in the colouring competition and wins, Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG shall be entitled to award the prize to someone else and the participant will no longer be entitled to the prize. The action of taking part implies acceptance of these conditions of participation.

    4. How to take part

    To take part, we require the first name, last name, age and address of the participant so that we can inform them of any prize they may have won. We also need the consent of a legal guardian/parent to their participation. Sending a scan or submitting a picture by post constitutes a declaration of consent. To participate in the colouring competition, simply either send the picture as a scan to online@maestrani.ch by post to: Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG, Munz Colouring Competition, Toggenburgerstrasse 41, 9230 Flawil, Switzerland.

    5. Judging, prizes and notification of award of a prize

  • a) At the end of the duration of the painting competition, a jury from Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG, consisting of three persons, will judge the submitted pictures for each age group (age group 1: 3-5 years, age group 2: 6-8 years, age group 3: 9-12 years) at their sole discretion and based on creative and technical criteria. The top ranked pictures in each age group will be selected as the winning pictures.

    b) The artist of the winning picture in each age group will win a Chocolate Weekend consisting of an overnight stay in a Chocolate Room at the Hotel Säntispark including a generous breakfast and a visit for 4 persons to the Chocolarium, the Munz World of Discovery.


    c) In addition, 60x family tickets for the Chocolarium, the Munz World of Discovery, as well as 30x Coop shopping cards worth 20 Swiss francs each will be drawn at random for each age group from all submitted pictures.

    d) The prizes will be sent by post at the end of the Colouring Competition. No other prize or cash alternative is available and prizes are not transferable.

  •  

     

    e) Should it not be possible to deliver the prize for reasons within the responsibility of the winner (e.g. provision of an incorrect or incomplete address), the claim to the prize shall be forfeited. Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG also accepts no liability for main prizes that are not delivered or are delivered damaged by third parties. The prizes will only be sent to Swiss addresses.

    6. No obligation to make a purchase
    No purchase is necessary. The colouring template for participation in the competition can be downloaded at www.munz.ch/malbuch.

    7. Liability

  • No claims for damages against Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG and/or affiliated companies in connection with the Colouring Competition shall be accepted unless Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG and/or affiliated companies have violated legal obligations intentionally or through gross negligence.

  •  

     

    8. Other terms and conditions

    a) Participation shall be deemed to constitute consent to the use of the data provided for the purposes of the competition and its transmission, storage and processing within Switzerland.

  •  

     

    b) These terms and conditions of participation may be amended by Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG at any time.

  •  

     

    c) Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG reserves the right to terminate the Colouring Competition at any time without prior notice if the implementation and/or handling of the Colouring Competition cannot be guaranteed for legal and/or practical reasons.


    9. Legal action and applicable law
    No correspondence will be entered into regarding the Colouring Competition. The decision of the organisers is final in all cases. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG. This competition is subject to Swiss law.
