Quality cocoa from Peru
We attach particular importance to the main raw material for our chocolates – the cocoa. Thanks to organic and Fairtrade certification, we ensure that only the best cocoa beans are cultivated from sustainably managed cocoa gardens. The superior cocoa for our organic chocolates comes from various local cooperatives in Peru:
Cane sugar from Paraguay
We use fairly traded organic cane sugar from Paraguay as a sweetener. Most of the sugar comes from the La Felsina A.I.C.S.A. cooperative. The small sugar mill is located in the town of Guarambaré, 31 kilometres from the capital of Paraguay, Asunción. With the help of the Fairtrade premium, La Felsina is able to support schools in Guarambaré in the areas of music, dance and theatre education.
