Swiss organic pioneer

Making organic chocolate since 1987

For over 35 years, the family-owned firm Maestrani, the parent company of the popular traditional brand Munz, has been one of Switzerland's organic pioneers in the chocolate market. Back in 1987, Maestrani was the first Swiss chocolate company to start producing organic and Fairtrade chocolate.

As a company with over 160 years of tradition, Maestrani passes on the secrets of the acclaimed art of Swiss chocolate making from generation to generation. It makes us particularly proud that Munz can draw on this long-standing expertise and that we were able to launch the first organic and Fairtrade product line under the Munz brand in 2021.

Swiss chocolate tradition

Maestrani has a sixth sense for chocolate. Our chocolatiers take high-quality ingredients and melt them to create fine chocolate specialties.
